Frequently Asked Questions

Last updated: March 12, 2026

Quick answers about getting started, channels, data, billing, and the developer setup inside Sired.

What is Sired?

Sired helps you create and run AI agents. You can configure an agent, test it in chat, connect channels like Telegram or Discord, and use APIs and webhooks to run it in your own workflows.

Do I need to code to use it?

Not for the core builder flow. You can create an agent from the web UI and test it there. Some setup paths, especially API keys, channel credentials, or self-hosted deployment details, are more developer-oriented.

Why does the menu say "For Devs: Get started"?

That entry opens the developer-style setup flow for organizations, API keys, and first API interactions. If you just want to try an agent, use the main builder or demo flow instead.

What channels can I connect today?

Sired currently supports web chat and guided setup for Telegram, Discord, and SMS. Some channels are easier than others today: Telegram is usually the quickest setup, Discord takes a few more steps, and SMS typically requires platform-level admin setup.

What if a model provider fails?

Sired can try fallback providers depending on your configuration. If something still fails, the user-facing app shows a safe generic message instead of exposing raw provider errors, and admins can inspect the reference in the admin error view.

Do you store my prompts and chat messages?

Sired may store prompts, messages, outputs, feedback, and operational logs in order to run the service, improve reliability, and support analytics or debugging. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Do you sell my data?

No. Sired does not sell your personal data. We may use service providers to operate the product, such as model vendors, hosting vendors, payment providers, email vendors, or SMS vendors.

Can I use my own model provider or API key?

Sired supports multiple model providers and can be configured with environment variables or provider settings depending on your deployment and plan. Availability may vary by environment.

Is Sired for high-risk decisions?

No. You should not rely on Sired outputs alone for medical, legal, employment, financial, or other high-risk decisions without appropriate human review and safeguards.

Where can I read the legal terms?

You can read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy directly on this site.
